Clay sculptures in the public space
The basis of the project was a production of nearly 1.200 terracotta sculptures created by 125 project’s participants, selected art students, who realized them in the course of five one-week long workshops held in Terra, Kikinda.
During the Festival, more than 1.000 of these “new Belgraders” were displayed around the city, while their mass presence clearly marked both the beginning of the Festival and its character. Following the closure of the Festival, sculptures were donated to the kindergartens, schools, hospitals and medical institutions for children as part of the initiative TERRAtoria – Art of Giving.
