“…and then again, a voice. Her voice. Words you don’t understand, in semi-darkness, some words, unconnected, her face in semi-darkness, words you don’t understand but a voice that soothes you. Then the voice is gone too.
Then again a blow.
Then silence.
You’re listening to the space but nothing can be heard except the sound from the street. (…)”
Milan Marković (Belgrade, 1978) is a dramaturge, playwright and performer. His plays have been staged and published in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and England, among others. He worked as a dramaturge in Croatian, Danish, German, Slovenian and Serbian theatre productions.
